Story

In 2201, The human has made inroads into the space. However, behind this flourshing scene, various huge crimes all over the spaces are frequent. Ryu, whose body has been kept in a freezing preservation since 2051, is waked up by Jody, the commander of a high-tech mechanic platoon. But he is given no liberty. He is forced to join Jody's platoon as a driver of F-Zero vehicle. The high-tech mechanic platoon is a police organization solely engaged in arrest of criminals who secretly participate in the F-Zero race, the most exciting car race in the universe, to get prize money in a mean way. However, when Ryu happens to hear the criminal whom he failed to arrest 150 years ago has also revived as one of the F-Zero criminal racers, he decides to challenge the F-Zero race to complete his past mission.
